Eloquentia Maastricht is a platform for students who are passionate about the art of debate, rhetoric, and persuasive public speaking. Our mission is to foster an environment where diverse ideas can be shared and challenged, allowing members to enhance their communication skills and broaden their perspectives. We host regular workshops, speaker events, and competitions to help our members refine their abilities and build confidence in public speaking.

WHAT WE DO

Competitive debate

Once a week our competitive debate team "Fight Club" meets to practice British Parliamentary debate. Members have opportunities to participate in national and international competitions.

Special Events

Throughout the year we hold workshops with special speakers where you can earn certificates, collaborations with other associations, and socials.

Weekly events

Once a week we host an event designed to either practice public speaking or debate. These are typically formatted as fun games and is perfect for any level of experience, including beginners.
